To enable User to create an Account and start using the Services, Cofactor collects personal information such as names, addresses, and payment information. User may be asked for personal information when User contacts Cofactor. When Services are accessed by Customer, Cofactor automatically records information that Applications send. These logs may include information such as the web request, Internet Protocol address and the date and time of the request.

2. Use of Information

Cofactor's primary purpose for collecting and using personal information is for internal and Services related purposes, to meet customers' needs and preferences, and to improve the Services. Cofactor may use this information for marketing purposes. Cofactor may use data that Customer passes through and/or may be generated by the use of the Services.

3. Collection and Sharing of Information

When User is asked for personal information on the Website, User is sharing that information with Cofactor only. Cofactor will not sell, rent, share, or otherwise dispose of the personal information collected on the Website to third parties, or disclose any of the personal information, except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, or when Cofactor has User's express permission, or under special circumstances, such as when Cofactor believes in good faith that the law requires it. Cofactor may share any information it receives with the vendors and service providers Cofactor uses to help it provide and improve the Services. For example, Cofactor may use it for website hosting and database storage. Cofactor may disclose any information in special cases when Cofactor has reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) Cofactor's rights or property, other customers, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Cofactor may disclose aggregated usage statistics to others, but none of these statistics will contain personally identifiable information about Customer and their use of the Services. Cofactor will not rent, sell, or share personal information about User that Cofactor collects with other people or unaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless Cofactor has User's permission.

Cofactor may use cookies to enable Customer to use the Website.

Cofactor's partners, such as web and social analytics services, may collect information through cookies and similar technologies about User's online activities over time, on other devices, and on other websites or apps, if those websites and apps use the same partners. When Cofactor's partners provide such services, they are governed by their own privacy policies. User may be able to change browser settings to block and delete cookies used by Cofactor's partners when User accesses the Website through a web browser. However, if User does that to cookies used by Cofactor, the Website may not work properly.

5. Correction of Information Collected

Customer has the right to correct or update the personal information collected about them by Cofactor.

6. Information Security

Cofactor takes steps in an effort to treat User's information securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • "Account" means Customer’s Cofactor account.
  • "Application(s)" means any application Customer creates that uses the Services.
  • "Customer" means the holder of a Cofactor Account.
  • "User" means either Customer or Website visitor.

  • "Privacy Policy URL" means the following URL set forth here: https://cofactor.io/privacy.
